Key Responsibilities

The CRNA is responsible for administering various types of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, or other medical procedures. They also conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, monitor patient status during procedures, and provide post-anesthesia care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current RN license, CRNA certification, and a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
