Join UHS as a Psychiatric Mental Health Technician Full Time Nights in Michigan. Responsibilities Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state of the art 72-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the ongoing assessment of the safety and emotional needs of each patient.

• Demonstrating awareness of the key elements of the treatment plans for all assigned patients and provides intervention/care accordingly on an individualized basis.

• Assisting patients with their personal grooming and personal hygiene, appropriate to the patient’s age, developmental level and needs.

• Participating in assigned groups and activities to meet the needs of various patient populations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Bachelors degree in Psychology or Human Services related field preferred but not required.

• CPR certified (Can obtain once hired).

• Experience working as a psychiatric technician preferred.
