Occupational Therapist, Full Time

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will assist physicians in evaluating patient function using diagnostic and prognostic procedures, and conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive patient needs assessments, including OASIS documentation. Responsibilities also include teaching, supervising, and counseling patients and families on the total Occupational Therapy program and communicating regularly with the physician regarding patient status.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an approved Occupational Therapy school and hold a current state license, along with at least one year of institutional experience and current CPR (BLS) certification. Applicants must also pass a criminal background check and be able to drive to access patient homes, which may require physical dexterity to assess patients and occasionally move up to 250 pounds.
