Key Responsibilities

• They will coordinate and direct assessments of individuals in custody, serve as lead worker, provide specialized sex offender specific group and individual therapy.

• In addition, they will maintain clinical documentation, conduct risk assessments and testing of sex offenders, and provide court testimony on treatment progression and evaluation.

Requirements

• Requires possession of a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage, and family therapy, or a closely related behavioral science degree from an accredited college or university.

• Requires two (2) years of related professional experience counseling sex offenders.

• Requires eligibility to be approved to conduct sex offender treatment and evaluations by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

• Prefers licensed as an Associate Sex Offender Treatment Provider (ASOTP) OR Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP) by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
