About the Role
Join McLaren Health Care as a Radiation Therapist – Full Time in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Administers radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
- Maintains EMR and other documentation related to treatment simulation and delivery.
- Performs simulation procedures, as ordered by the radiation oncologist, for the purpose of treatment planning.
- Fabricates treatment immobilization devices and treatment aids, as ordered by the radiation oncologist, for the purpose of treatment planning.
Requirements
- REQUIRED Associate degree in radiation therapy.
- Board certified in radiation therapy from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists BLS certification as healthcare provider or obtains within 6 months of employment as a radiation therapist.
- Two years prior experience working as a radiation therapist.
- QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy.
