About the Role

Join McLaren Health Care as a Radiation Therapist – Full Time in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administers radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
  • Maintains EMR and other documentation related to treatment simulation and delivery.
  • Performs simulation procedures, as ordered by the radiation oncologist, for the purpose of treatment planning.
  • Fabricates treatment immobilization devices and treatment aids, as ordered by the radiation oncologist, for the purpose of treatment planning.

Requirements

  • REQUIRED Associate degree in radiation therapy.
  • Board certified in radiation therapy from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists BLS certification as healthcare provider or obtains within 6 months of employment as a radiation therapist.
  • Two years prior experience working as a radiation therapist.
  • QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy.
