The Physical Therapist Assistant will administer prescribed physical therapy treatments and assist patients with mobility and functional activities under the direction of a Physical Therapist. They are also responsible for documenting patient progress, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and educating patients and families on home care procedures.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program and possess a current Pennsylvania Indirect Physical Therapy Assistant license. Board certification and computer literacy are also required for this position.
