The IMA Group is seeking a Credentialed Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Counselor to conduct assessments and connect clients to treatment in partnership with the Orange County Department of Social Services. You'll work in a structured, supportive clinical environment with minimal travel, no nights, no weekends, and no on-call.

The Role

• Pay: $28–$30 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: Full-time or part-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Locations: Newburgh, NY and Middletown, NY

What You'll Do

• Conduct timely substance use disorder assessments referred by the County DSS
• Recommend and facilitate appropriate SUD treatment referrals
• Monitor client participation in OASAS programs
• Maintain accurate records and obtain treatment consents
• Collaborate with community providers, SAAM team members, and county agencies
• Stay current on local OASAS resources and community-based treatment services

• Active CASAC credential (required)
• 1–4 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
