Physical Therapist – Home Health Visits (Contingent)

AmeriStaff Nursing Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy visits to patients throughout the Metro Detroit area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful one-on-one patient care while maintaining a flexible schedule.

As a Physical Therapist with AmeriStaff, you will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence while receiving care in the comfort of their homes. This is a contingent home visit position that offers autonomy, flexibility, and competitive visit-based compensation.

Compensation

$85 per completed 1-hour patient visit

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services during in-home patient visits across the Metro Detroit area
• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety practices
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Comply with all clinical standards, documentation requirements, and HIPAA regulations

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current, valid, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of one (1) year of Physical Therapy experience
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong time management and organizational skills
