Key Responsibilities

The Medical Therapy Employee is responsible for delivering direct therapy services to in-clinic and outpatient clients, ensuring a high-quality therapy program by optimizing each client's abilities according to regulations. Key duties include conducting evaluations, implementing interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing client records and documentation.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of a master's degree in speech therapy and hold an active license from the Florida Department of Health. Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA is required, or must be obtained within one year of employment, with one year of pediatric experience preferred.
