Children’s Mental Health Therapist (Santa Fe and Espanola)

Presbyterian Medical Services (PMS) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapists to join our Behavioral Health team.

In this rewarding role, you will provide assessments, treatment planning, counseling services, crisis intervention, and care coordination while working alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care.

This opportunity is open to both experienced independently licensed clinicians and non-independently licensed clinicians seeking professional growth through clinical supervision and mentorship.

This position is based in Santa Fe. Regular travel to our Espanola location is required two to three times per week to provide client services and support program needs.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, couples, and group counseling services.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support clients through challenging situations.
• Coordinate care with providers, community resources, family members, and support systems.
• Monitor client progress and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote positive client outcomes.
• Support community outreach, education, and continuity of care efforts.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current New Mexico licensure as a mental health professional, including LMHC, LPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LPAT, or other qualifying licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, client-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Navajo skills.
• Experience working with diverse populations and community-based services.
