Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the nutritional consultation service offered by the Agency and participates in the evaluation of the program.

• Implements therapeutic prescriptions and design appropriate dietary regimens for individuals.

• Evaluates individual’s compliance with prescribed therapeutic diet and suggests appropriate action to be taken.

• Makes visits to those individuals with nutritional problems and counsels individual and/or family/guardian.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

• Must be a dietician registered by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).

• Previous experience should include hospital therapeutics, teaching, and/or community health experience. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly rate: $32/hr.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.

• No weekends required.
