As a Therapist at Health Connect America, you'll provide high-quality therapeutic services that support emotional wellness, strengthen coping skills, and promote lasting positive outcomes. Through assessment, treatment planning, therapy, crisis intervention, and collaboration, you'll play an important role in helping clients achieve meaningful progress in their lives.

What You'll Do

As a Therapist, you'll provide individualized behavioral health services while partnering with families, treatment teams, and community resources to support client success. Day to day, you can expect to:

Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and utilize evidence-based assessment tools to identify client strengths, needs, and treatment recommendations

Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary treatment teams

Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and other mental health conditions

Monitor client progress, maintain ongoing communication and follow-up, and adjust treatment interventions to support positive outcomes

Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals to additional resources and support services as needed

Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, accreditation standards, and state regulations

For clinicians providing services in North Carolina, responsibilities may also include integrated care functions such as care coordination, health promotion, transitional care, and community resource linkage.

Qualifications

  • We welcome candidates who bring a passion for behavioral health and meet the following qualifications:
  • Alabama
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
  • Must be eligible for licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
  • Mississippi
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required

Must be eligible for licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Mississippi, or hold a Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) certification

  • North Carolina
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
  • Must hold an associate license as an LCSWA or LCMHCA
  • South Carolina
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
  • Must hold a LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A license
  • Tennessee
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
  • Must be eligible for licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
  • Virginia
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
  • Must be a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work

Additional Qualifications

Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions preferred

Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention practices

  • Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team while managing an active caseload

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required for community-based service delivery, when applicable
