Job Description

  • vision of the Associate Behavioral Health Director, the LCSW/LPCC or ASW/AMFT/APCC will work with an inter-disciplinary team to ensure that quality psychosocial services are delivered to health center patients.

We provide medical, dental, behavioral health, and school-based services at more than 15 primary care sites across Oakland, Berkeley, and West Contra Costa County. Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary of $70,304 for ASW/AMFT/APCC, $101,753-$122,928 for LCSW/LPCC, depending on years since licensed, and excellent benefits: medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, dependent and domestic partner coverage, 403(b) retirement savings plan, and loan repayment programs. LifeLong is a qualified site for federal and state loan repayment programs (HPSA score is 16). Acceptance rates may vary year to year based on funding levels and the number of applicants.

Qualifications

Job Requirements Current and valid California LCSW, LPCC license, or ACSW, APCC or AMFT registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Knowledge and experience providing mental health services to disadvantaged populations. Familiarity with evidence-based practices for the treatment of depression and other mental disorders. Proficient in Microsoft office Job Preferences Supervisory experience a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking. Epic and or medical software systems knowledge. Community Healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities

The clinician provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments, mental health diagnoses, and short-term counseling for patients within an interdisciplinary primary care team. They also perform crisis intervention, triage, and maintain clinical records in accordance with billing and contractual requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current and valid California LCSW, LPCC, ASW, APCC, or AMFT license or registration. The role requires experience providing mental health services to disadvantaged populations and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
