Position Summary
Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by providing therapeutic services, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting patients and families throughout the recovery process.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, and committed to delivering exceptional behavioral healthcare to children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Therapist, you will:
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Facilitate daily individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and treatment team members to coordinate patient care.
Maintain ongoing communication with families, guardians, referral sources, and community partners.
Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making.
Develop and implement discharge plans that support successful transitions back into the community.
Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and follow-up services.
Complete clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Required
Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
Current unrestricted Texas licensure or license eligibility.
Experience working in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or clinical setting.
Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and families.
Preferred
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Minimum one (1) year of hospital-based psychiatric experience.
Additional Requirements
Successful completion of BLS (Basic Life Support) and Handle with Care training within 30 days of hire.
