Key Responsibilities

Patient Care Techs serve as the communication hub in the patient care environment, responsible for creating and maintaining a setting conducive to healing while collaborating with team members to provide skillful and supportive care for all patients. Responsibilities also include demonstrating commitment to professional growth, supporting performance improvement activities, and implementing service standards like Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of six months of nursing assistant experience or certification, and must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within two weeks of hire. Essential attributes include legible printing, a clear speaking voice, computer skills, and the ability to handle the emotional stress of caring for the acutely ill.
