Job Description
Healthcare United is seeking a full time Urgent Care Physician who is Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine, to join our team located at in Crown Point, IN just 45 minutes from Chicago, IL.
Requirements Candidate will have ACLS/PALS/BLS, certifications or willing to become certified. Candidate should be comfortable seeing patients of all ages with a volume of approximately 30 patients per shift. Ideal candidate should be proficient in: Reading basic x-rays of all body parts Laceration repair/wound care Initial ECG interpretation Interpreting test results

Key Responsibilities
The physician will provide urgent care services to patients of all ages with a volume of approximately 30 patients per shift. Responsibilities include performing laceration repairs, wound care, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as X-rays and ECGs.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Applicants are required to hold or be willing to obtain ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
