A Day in Motion

Your day starts with a fast, focused scan of new orders and patient profiles—then you’re in the rhythm of clinical decision-making, from dosing nuances across age groups to answering real-time drug information questions. You’ll move between inpatient needs and scheduled touchpoints like anticoagulation follow-ups and medication therapy management, then pivot to the retail counter when the community needs you. Between consults, you’ll check sterile compounding readiness—equipment, beyond-use dating, labeling, and storage—while keeping records tight for charges and dispensing controls. The pace can shift quickly, including on-call coverage, but the throughline stays the same: clear communication, sharp prioritization, and a relentless commitment to medication safety.
