• A Day in the Life of a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

As a BCaBA, you are the bridge between our RBTs and our BCBAs. Your days mix direct ABA sessions with supervision visits, where you model procedures for RBTs, check data trends on ABA Matrix, and make sure every program is running the way it was designed.

Each week you lead caregiver training sessions, draft program updates for your supervising BCBA, and give RBTs feedback in the field. You help with assessments and treatment plan updates, and your required BCaBA supervision comes from a D & M BCBA at no cost to you. If you are working toward your BCBA, that supervision can count toward your fieldwork too.

What Would You Be Doing?

• Provides direct ABA services and supervision to RBTs under the direction of a supervising BCBA.
• Models procedures, gives performance feedback, and monitors treatment fidelity.
• Leads caregiver training using behavioral skills training.
• Assists with assessments, data analysis, graphing, and treatment-plan updates for BCBA review.
• Completes documentation in ABA Matrix within 24 hours.
• Participates in case reviews and quality-improvement activities.
• Follows the BACB Ethics Code, HIPAA, and D & M policies.
• What Do You Bring to the Role?
• Certification: Current BCaBA certification in good standing.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Credentialing: Individual NPI (or obtain before start).
• Transportation: Valid Florida driver license, reliable car, and auto insurance.
• Background: Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 background screening.
• Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with kids and families.
• Positive Attitude: Patience, reliability, and strong communication with families and teammates.

Physical Requirements

This role involves working in homes, schools, and community settings, occasionally lifting or moving up to 30 lbs., sitting on the floor, bending, kneeling, and engaging in active play for extended periods. Travel between client locations is required.
