Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Ob/Gyn

This contract, on-site position offers an opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality obstetrics and gynecology care within a supportive, patient-focused clinical environment.

As a Locum MD Ob/Gyn, you will deliver comprehensive women's healthcare, including prenatal and postpartum care, gynecologic evaluations, preventive services, and surgical and non-surgical treatment, while working collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure continuity and excellence in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum services
• Perform gynecologic examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and preventive screenings
• Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions, including menstrual disorders, infections, and pelvic pain
• Conduct and interpret ultrasounds and other diagnostic procedures as needed
• Perform gynecologic and obstetric surgical procedures in accordance with standard of care
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and care teams
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
• Coordinate care with nursing staff, midwives, and other healthcare providers
• Counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, and women's wellness
• Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and institutional policies and protocols

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
• Active and unrestricted medical license eligible for practice in Wisconsin
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid DEA registration and current BLS/ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic, and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site contract environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement

Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a inpatient call, or 8a-5p in clinic

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Inpatient Volume: 1-6 deliveries

Outpatient Volume: 18-25 patients

Must be board-certified
