Your Role as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

* Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily operations of the nursing department

* Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs

* Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations

* Support the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures

* Monitor quality of care and identify opportunities for improvement

* Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of nursing staff

* Provide clinical guidance and support to staff, including care planning and documentation

* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care

* Promote a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff

* Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations

What We're Looking For

* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

* Current LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio

* Current CPR certification

* Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role

* Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and nursing practices

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively

* Strong organizational and time-management skills

* Compassionate, calm, and resident-focused approach to care
