Physical Therapist -Resource Pool Methodist Hospital

As a Physical Therapist in Methodist Hospital’s Resource Pool, you’ll have the opportunity to support a wide variety of patients and care environments while helping individuals improve mobility, restore function, manage pain, and regain independence. We have full-time and PRN opportunities available and are open to welcoming new graduates. Hours are Monday–Friday days, with some weekend and holiday rotation for full-time team members.

Responsibilities

Evaluate individuals with medical or health-related conditions that impact movement, function, and daily activities.

Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

Monitor patient response to therapeutic interventions while supporting evidence-based practices and creative service delivery.

Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team while ensuring timely, accurate, and ethical documentation and billing.

Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, continuous learning, process improvement, and resource management to enhance care delivery and patient experience.

Qualifications

Education

Graduated from an accredited program in respective field.

Experience

Experience in specialty area preferred.

License(s)/Certification(s)

Current Iowa license as a PT. Current BLS (CPR).

Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
