Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Technician will be responsible for providing client transportation to appointments and outings, completing the intake process upon arrival, and conducting routine vital signs and wellness checks while documenting client progress. They must also serve as a calm, compassionate presence during emergencies and participate in appropriate client engagement activities.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old, along with holding a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Required qualifications also include CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain them) and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen, coupled with a strong interest in addiction recovery or human services.
