Job Description
Helen Newberry Joy Hospital and Healthcare Center is offering a rare opportunity to assume a stable, physician-friendly outpatient rural health practice. The practice offers immediate income security with the benefit of a schedule which allows you to build real patient relationships. You could join a professional group of mission-minded people serving their community in our Patient Centered Medical Home designated office.

Our independent Critical Access Hospital operates four rural health clinics across three counties in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The practices are supported by LPNs, Medical Assistants, on-site referral coordinators, on-site Chronic Care coordinators, remote psychiatrist consultations, and a leadership team ready to help you be successful in your efforts to assist your patients in reaching their health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
The role requires a qualified physician capable of working in a rural health clinic environment. Candidates should be mission-minded and prepared to provide clinical leadership and supervision for APPs.
