Seeking a pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This position is based primarily at our Akron, Ohio pharmacy, where you will work four days per week, with one day per week spent supporting our Canton, Ohio pharmacy. The ideal candidate will also be willing to provide occasional coverage at other Genoa Healthcare locations within approximately one hour of Akron when business needs arise. In this role, you will help maintain continuity of care by ensuring patients, many of whom are receiving behavioral health services, have uninterrupted access to their medications and pharmacy support across both locations
Hours: Pharmacy hours are generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm / No weekends or holidays

Primary Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in state of Ohio
- Certified immunizer
- Willing to complete LAI training and administer LAI
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist will process prescriptions, administer immunizations, and provide medication information to patients within a behavioral health setting. They are responsible for ensuring continuity of care and maintaining compliance with all State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD and possess a current pharmacist license in the state of Ohio. Additionally, applicants must be certified immunizers with a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
