Nocturnist Physician Needed Southwest Pennsylvania

Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Healthcare System. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physician with strong communication skills who is committed to optimizing patient outcomes.

Position Details

• Support Structure: 2 APPs assist with admissions (approximately 10 per night), ICU coverage, codes, etc.
• Procedures/Lines: Provided by in-house General Surgery residents
• Intubations: Handled by ER/Anesthesia team
• ICU Management: Open ICU, primarily managed by renowned Pulm/CC service
• Critical Care Services: In-person during the day, tele-critical care at night
• Tele-Hospitalist Service: Provides cross coverage as needed
• Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 12-hour shifts

Requirements

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• BLS and ACLS Certified
• Eligibility for a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork
