Assists patients with therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist. Monitors and records therapy services to improve patients' quality of life and ability to perform daily activities.
Must be a graduate of an approved APTA program and licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice. Basic Life Support certification is required within six months of employment.
