Qualifications
- Minimum Baccalaureate Degree
- New York State Teaching Certificate- (TSHH) or (TSLD) in Special Education
- Speech Language Pathologist Licensed
Accountable to the Related Services Coordinator and indirectly to Executive Director.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 30 minute individual and group speech session per student IEP.
- Manage schedule to maximize IEP compliance (i. e., see all students on caseload per schedule)
- Attend meetings with parents, classroom teachers, and school district representatives
- Write quarterly progress reports on progress toward IEP objectives
- Write progress notes for case reviews and special meetings
- Maintain full caseload to meet state mandated productivity levels.
