The staff Physical Therapist is responsible for patient examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutic intervention. The staff Physical Therapist practices within the scope of the profession of Physical Therapy for adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence/Patient Care.

• Examines patients/clients - obtains history, performs a systems review, and selects and administers discipline- and age-specific tests and measures to obtain data.

• Evaluates patients/clients - makes clinical judgments based on data gathered during the examination.

• Develops patient/client diagnoses or problem lists (cluster of signs and symptoms).

Requirements

• Meets educational requirements as necessary for obtaining professional license in Physical Therapy.

• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Physical Therapist in Iowa.

• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.

• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
