Join West Texas Counseling & Guidance as a Zero Suicide Therapist in San Angelo, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, ethical clinical services adhering to accepted standards of practice.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat clients for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

• Conduct risk assessments for harm to self or others; engage in safety planning and referrals as appropriate.

• Provide compassionate care to clients of all socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.

Requirements

• Required.

• Graduate or doctoral degree in a clinically relevant discipline with current Texas licensure (LMSW, LPC-Associate, or LMFT Associate).

• No prior counseling experience required; experience in crisis mental health services preferred.

• Knowledge of community resources and social services.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $45K

• PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness).
