Job Details
Join the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health team down in sunny Florida, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the nation. At Cleveland Clinic, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.
Martin Health is looking to add a Physical Therapist to the Rehab team who will work with patients at Martin North, Martin South and Tradition Hospitals. Physical Therapists test muscle strength, the amount of flexibility in joints, and the ability to walk or move.
Treatments include exercises to increase strength, range of motion, endurance, and coordination, the use of heat, cold, electricity, or even aquatics to relieve pain, and teaching exercises and body mechanics to avoid injury or regain function.
Since this position requires physical interaction with patients, Physical Therapists are highly connected with patients and build stronger patient relationships than most other health sciences specialists. Often, physical therapy patients are dealing with pain, so sensitivity is important.
Equally important is giving patients the drive and support they need to work hard and regain their health.
With our vision being to be the best place to work in healthcare and the best place to receive care, this position serves that vision by providing greater access to care and reducing wait times for patients. Here, you will be a part of a team that thrives on collaboration and evidence-based best practices.
This role supports Cleveland Clinic's mission and vision by expecting each caregiver to demonstrate their values and behaviors: quality and safety, empathy, teamwork, integrity, inclusion and innovation.
A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday between 8:00AM – 4:30PM, including four weekend days in an 8-week schedule period, one premium holiday and two non-premium holidays.
Floating between Martin North, Martin South and Tradition Hospitals will be required.
