T-25/27.SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SYPHAX)

Join Arlington Public Schools as a T-25/27. SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SYPHAX) in Arlington, Virginia. This position is a 1.0 FTE position located in the Office of Special Education at the Syphax Education Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete appropriate assessments and reports for students referred for speech and language evaluations within required timelines.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that may include teachers, reading specialists, English Learner (EL) teachers, and other related service providers.

• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and service delivery models to meet individual student needs, with an emphasis on inclusion and access to the general education curriculum.

• Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the review of assessment information for referred students.

Requirements

• Must hold or be eligible for Virginia licensure.

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.

• Licensure issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language.

• Pathology in accordance with Board regulations for school speech-language pathologists.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.
