Position Summary
At the administrative direction of the Radiation Oncology Operations Supervisor, and the clinical direction of the Radiation Oncologist, the Radiation Therapist provides radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by physician according to established standards and
practice.
Basic Knowledge
Demonstrated knowledge of radiation therapy equipment and techniques. Demonstrated experience with sophisticated radiation therapy techniques. Knowledge of Radiation Therapy treatment practices, use of specialized equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be a member in good standing of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Currently licensed or licensure eligible as a Radiation Therapist in the State of Vermont.
Experience
1 year experience in a Radiation Therapy clinic required.
