The Speech Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a geriatric home health setting. They also provide aural rehabilitation and implement augmentative and alternative communication systems for patients.
Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). A current CPR certification is required, and at least one year of experience in speech pathology is preferred.
