Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a Community Based Therapist to join our Health Now program, providing compassionate, individualized behavioral health services to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness.

This role provides the opportunity to meet clients where they are, literally and figuratively. Through in-home and community-based therapy, you’ll help individuals address their mental and physical health needs, strengthen their support systems, and work toward greater health, wellness, and independence.

Job Responsibilities 

Provide Individualized Clinical Care

* Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments that identify client strengths, resources, abilities, and areas of need

* Assess individual, family/interpersonal, environmental, cultural, and situational factors that may impact treatment

* Conduct appropriate risk assessments and respond to clients who may be a danger to themselves or others in accordance with agency policies

* Establish treatment goals and objectives that reflect the client's concerns, strengths, needs, and preferences

* Provide individualized therapeutic interventions that align with the client's diagnostic formulation and treatment goals

* Monitor and evaluate progress toward treatment goals with clients and their supports

Coordinate Care & Build Community Supports

* Coordinate treatment with referral sources and other service providers as appropriate

* Maintain effective collateral communication with human service providers and community partners

* Help clients identify, access, and strengthen community-based supports and resources

* Make appropriate referrals to additional programs, services, and resources

* Advocate for improvements that enhance the quality and efficiency of clinical services

Respond to Client Needs

* Respond flexibly and with initiative as client, program, and community needs change

* Contribute to team problem-solving and overall program efficiency

* Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

* Meet agency productivity expectations

* Actively contribute as a positive and collaborative member of the Community Based Program

* Follow all agency policies and procedures

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a comparable human services field

* Current Ohio clinical license, including LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, or LMFT

* Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

* Valid driver's license and clean driving record

* Ability to provide transportation using your own vehicle, with appropriate auto insurance

Dynamic Compensation Ladder

We believe your clinical career should grow with you. Our Therapist Ladder Program recognizes professional development, clinical excellence, experience, and licensure while providing a clear path for career advancement and increased earning potential.

Therapist positions start at $50,000 annually, with compensation increasing based on licensure, experience, and career progression through the Therapist Ladder Program.

* Level 1: Therapists begin at Level 1, with opportunities to advance to Level 2 within 6–12 months, based on experience, performance, and productivity.

* Level 2: Eligible therapists can earn a $500 monthly performance bonus by meeting established performance and productivity goals.

* Level 3: Following attainment of independent licensure, therapists may apply for Level 3, which includes eligibility for a $1,000 monthly performance bonus.

Work Environment

This is a community-based and in-home position headquartered in an office environment. Therapists regularly travel throughout Butler, Warren, and Clinton Counties to provide services in clients' homes and community settings.

The role requires comfort working independently in a variety of environments while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the broader treatment team.
