Physical Therapist (PT)

Join Department of Veterans Affairs as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Help patients improve mobility, restore functional independence, and enhance quality of life through individualized, evidence-based rehabilitation. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary care team to deliver meaningful outcomes in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, including ROM, gait analysis, functional assessments, and neurological testing.

• Develop, implement, reassess, and adjust individualized rehabilitation treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.

• Document patient progress, reports, and records accurately and in alignment with clinical requirements.

• Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to interdisciplinary care teams.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Ohio Physical Therapist license required.

• Current BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist required.

• Ability to work a full-time day shift schedule; additional hours may be required based on patient care needs.

• Full-Time position.
