Key Responsibilities

• Position Summary: CVT surgery PA provides first assist for open heart, thoracic and vascular surgeries, and second assist performing endovascular vein harvest for CABG and vascular cases.

• The CVT Surgery PA provides daily rounds, post operative care to include ICU and telemetry stepdown unit patient care.

• The PA is responsible for pre/post op orders and patient discharges.

• The PA is an considered an extender to the surgeon and must have good communication skills to speak with other physicians for necessary consults.
