Key Responsibilities
- Position Summary: CVT surgery PA provides first assist for open heart, thoracic and vascular surgeries, and second assist performing endovascular vein harvest for CABG and vascular cases.
- The CVT Surgery PA provides daily rounds, post operative care to include ICU and telemetry stepdown unit patient care.
- The PA is responsible for pre/post op orders and patient discharges.
- The PA is an considered an extender to the surgeon and must have good communication skills to speak with other physicians for necessary consults.
Requirements

- Record pertinent data in a manner meaningful to the Supervising Physician(s) and other healthcare providers.
- All entries must be must be countersigned bythe Supervising Physician(s) within 24 hours after entry.
Work Schedule
