Key Responsibilities

• Your day-to-day will involve: Responding to new contacts and referrals, executing swift risk screenings, and leading timely Section 47 child protection investigations.

• Conducting comprehensive Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) assessments within statutory timescales.

• Working closely with the MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub), police, schools, and health professionals to gather information and ensure immediate safety.

Requirements

• To be successful in this role you must have,.

• We need a practitioner with excellent crisis-management skills, strong professional boundaries, and the ability to make confident decisions under pressure.

• Qualifications: A recognized Social Work degree and current registration with Social Work England.

• Experience: Proven post-qualified experience working within a fast-paced Duty and Assessment or Front Door team.
