Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children’s Safeguarding team, based in Wolverhampton. Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out comprehensive, child-focused assessments under Child Protection and Child in Need frameworks.

• Formulating and implementing robust safeguarding plans to ensure children are safe and supported within their families or care settings.

• Initiating and managing care proceedings, including writing high-quality court reports and giving evidence when required.

• Collaborating closely with multi-agency partners (schools, health professionals, police) to deliver holistic, wrapped-around support.

Requirements

• We need practitioners who are resilient, empathetic, and sharp when it comes to risk assessment.

• Qualifications: A recognized degree in Social Work (BA, Social Work England registered).

• Experience: Post-qualified experience within a statutory Children’s Safeguarding or Child Protection team.

• Skills: Strong analytical skills for risk assessment, excellent courtroom/report writing capabilities, and a knack for building trust with families in crisis.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: £45,000 + £2,500 supplement
