The Opportunity

  • Up to $25k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
  • Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Critical Care physicians.
  • Current IL license is a plus.

The Practice

  • St. Mary’s Hospital – Kankakee, Illinois
  • STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center.
  • 182-bed hospital with a 14-bed Open ICU.
  • Annual volume of 25,000; 7-10 encounters per day with tele-critical care at night.
  • Tight-knit physician community built on collaboration among hospital administration, nursing, and physicians.
  • Vituity-staffed Emergency Department offers integrated care solutions at this site.

Leapfrog "A" Hospital Safety Grade; Bronze Level 2024 Digital Health Award; five-star ratings for the treatment of COPD and pneumonia as well as sepsis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality critical care services to patients within a 14-bed Open ICU at St. Mary’s Hospital. Collaborate with hospital administration, nursing staff, and other physicians to ensure integrated care solutions.

Requirements

Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care medicine. A current Illinois medical license is considered a plus for applicants.
