Job Overview
A Staff Physician in Urgent Care provides medical care to patients in an urgent care facility, offering immediate treatment for various non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. The Physician diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with various medical conditions and ensures quality patient care.
Minimum Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California and Board certification in the chosen specialty required or Board Eligible, with the expectation to become board certified within 18 months of employment.
Completion of a residency program in an appropriate field.
Ongoing continuing medical education to stay current with medical advances.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Compensation
$274,684.80 - $329,621.76 annually
