Little Friends Center for Autism is looking for a part-time Occupational Therapist to join their outpatient clinic multi-disciplinary team as a key member of the Foundations Therapeutic Program.
The Foundations Therapeutic Program helps children build the skills, confidence, and connections they need for what comes next.
OTs develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for referred clients. Will assess the OT needs of referred clients and write reports with recommendations. Write goals ensuring the treatment plan is appropriate and current and document progress on those goals using SOAP notes. Consult with parents/guardians to integrate occupational therapy plans into the home environment. Communicate with schools, doctors or other therapists when permitted and necessary to obtain or give information per parental requests. Prove 6-month progress summaries on all clients in caseload.

- Beginning August 2026
- 9am - 12pm
- Monday - Friday
- Option to add-on afternoon hours

Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with Illinois state licensure.
- Experience with pediatric and autism population preferred.
- School or clinic experience as well as experience with sensory integration preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement treatment plans for children in the Foundations Therapeutic Program, including assessing needs and documenting progress via SOAP notes. Collaborate with parents, schools, and doctors to integrate therapy into the home environment and ensure comprehensive care.
