Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic, PRN, Activities Therapist (Art, Recreation, Music, or Dance/Movement) Board Certified in Specialty who will embrace the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of the patients we serve!

The Activities Therapist is an important member of the Centennial Peaks Hospital’s inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. The Activities Therapist provides expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities to inpatient psychiatric units. We are looking for candidates who specializes in Recreational, Art, Dance/Movement or Expressive Arts.

• This is a PRN position-Weekdays with Occasional Weekends.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Specialty Therapy Required.
• MUST be registered as a Recreation (CTRS), Music (MT-BC), Dance/Movement (R-DMT) or Art Therapist (ATR)
• Preferred: Board-Certified in specialty
• Bachelor’s Degree in Specialty Therapy Required.
• One year experience in working with a mental health population preferred.
• Recreation-MUST have or be eligible for CTRS
• Music-MUST have or be eligible for MT-BC
• Dance/Movement or Expressive Arts-MUST have or be eligible for R-DMT or REAT

Qualifications
