- Anesthesiologist opportunity in northern New Jersey with Overlook Medical
- Center—nationally recognized Overlook Medical Center is a 350-bed hospital in
- Summit, NJ, that offers a wide array of advanced services, including
neurodiagnostic, neurological, and neurosurgical services. This site features a
certified Level IV Epilepsy Center and is a hub for the New Jersey Stroke
Network and a regional leader in neuroscience care through its Atlantic
Neuroscience Institute. Also on campus is The Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor
Center, where medical experts are performing the most brain tumor surgeries in
New Jersey. This growing anesthesia team is supportive, offering an environment

Responsibilities
- Case assignments: General, Endo, Ortho, L&D, Neuro, GYN, Vascular, ENT
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
- Schedule: Full time, call taking
- M. D./D. O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
Salary: $580K - full time, call taking
Sign on Incentive: 100K, PTO 9 weeks
