Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician provides transition case management services to inmates, including developing transition plans and connecting them with community-based resources. They also facilitate individual and group cognitive behavioral treatment sessions and maintain accurate case management documentation.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is required, while a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, sociology, or a related field is desirable. Candidates should have two years of experience in a correctional setting and possess an understanding of effective intervention principles.
