Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist is responsible for conducting clinical prior authorization reviews and appeal determinations while collaborating with providers to ensure appropriate pharmacy care. They also monitor clinical interventions to meet savings goals and provide clinical expertise to internal teams and members.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and possess an active pharmacist license. A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical, PBM, or managed care settings is required.
