Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist oversees pharmaceutical care, designs medication therapy regimens, and provides patient counseling on complex specialty conditions. They also collaborate with the healthcare team to manage formulary adherence and supervise pharmacy support staff to ensure safe and efficient workflows.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school and possess at least 3 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist. Active pharmacy licensure in both Illinois and Wisconsin is required, along with board certification in the area of practice.
