  • Centerburg Pointe | Centerburg, OH
  • PRN / As Needed | Flexible Scheduling | Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation
  • Looking for a PRN PTA Opportunity That Fits Your Life?

What if you could make a meaningful difference in someone's recovery while enjoying the flexibility to balance your career with everything else that matters to you?

At AdvantageCare Rehabilitation, we're looking for a compassionate, motivated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team at Centerburg Pointe in Centerburg, Ohio.

Whether you're an experienced PTA looking to supplement your income, a newer clinician interested in expanding your clinical experience, or someone seeking additional hours without committing to a traditional full-time schedule, we'd love to connect!

We understand that your time is valuable, and finding the right PRN opportunity should mean more than simply picking up additional shifts.

It should mean joining a team where your skills are appreciated, your contributions matter, and the care you provide makes a real difference.

Why You'll Love This PRN Opportunity

Flexibility That Works for You

Already working full-time? Looking to pick up additional hours while maintaining a schedule that works for your lifestyle?

Our PRN opportunities provide the flexibility to explore additional work based on your availability and our facility's coverage needs.

Whether you're balancing another position, family commitments, or simply prefer the flexibility of PRN employment, we'd love to learn what you're looking for.

Meaningful Patient Care in a Community-Focused Setting

At Centerburg Pointe, you'll have the opportunity to work with residents who benefit from skilled rehabilitation services to improve mobility, regain strength, and maintain independence.

From helping someone take their first steps after an illness to celebrating progress toward important mobility goals, you'll be part of the moments that truly matter.

Supportive Leadership That Understands Therapy

AdvantageCare Rehabilitation was founded by therapists who understand the importance of clinical collaboration, professional respect, and quality patient care.

You'll work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist while contributing your clinical skills to individualized treatment plans that support each resident's goals.

A Team That Values Your Contributions

Even when you're working PRN, you deserve to feel like a valued member of the team.

We strive to create a collaborative environment where communication, teamwork, and exceptional patient care come first.

What You'll Do

As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions.
  • Help residents improve strength, endurance, coordination, and independence with daily mobility.
  • Monitor residents' responses to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide patient and family education within the PTA scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility training, and appropriate use of assistive devices.
  • Follow Ohio PTA practice requirements, facility policies, and established safety protocols.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, patient-centered rehabilitation environment.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in connecting with Physical Therapist Assistants who bring compassion, clinical skills, and a genuine commitment to helping others.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility to practice in Ohio prior to employment, including an applicable PT Compact privilege.

  • Commitment to delivering individualized, high-quality rehabilitation services.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, geriatrics, or post-acute rehabilitation is a plus, but not required.
