ATTENDING PHYSICIAN VII, BILINGUAL - PSYCHIATRY

Key Responsibilities

The psychiatrist provides psychiatric assessment, medication management, and direct patient care for patients with co-morbid medical diseases and mental illnesses in outpatient settings. They also educate staff and trainees, document encounters, and provide coverage for other psychiatrists across the hospital system as needed.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, be licensed as a physician in Illinois, and be board certified or board eligible in General Psychiatry. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required, along with the ability to obtain medical staff privileges.
