Hospitalist Physician Killeen TX
$200–$300/Hour | 2–3 Hour Shifts | Flexible Schedule | APP Support
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as a Part-Time Hospitalist at an inpatient post-rehabilitation hospital in Killeen, TX.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for short shifts, flexible scheduling, and strong hourly compensation. The position works particularly well for physicians looking to supplement an existing schedule or work during off weeks.
- Schedule & Compensation
- Approximately $200–$300 per hour
- Part-time 2–3-hour shifts Round approximately 3–4 times per week
- Rotational schedule with another physician
- Flexible start and end times
- APP support to assist with daily documentation
What You'll Do
- Round on patients in an inpatient post-rehabilitation setting
- Assist with new admissions
- Evaluate and manage more complex follow-up patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Coordinate care with APPs and the interdisciplinary clinical team
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered medical care
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain
- Federal DEA registration
- Texas controlled substance registration or eligibility
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
