The Nurse Practitioner will focus on quality resident care, acting as an educator and clinician to develop the multi-disciplinary Village team, emphasizing clinical quality improvement outcomes. They will provide guidance on assessments, diagnostic testing, lead palliative care services, and participate in clinical review of quality initiatives.
Candidates must hold current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess experience completing comprehensive geriatric assessments, current Heart Save Level of CPR, and Current AIS Certification. Experience leading and mentoring care professionals, along with knowledge of long-term care regulations, is also required.
